Today's most exciting news is the revolutionary, explosive growth of the World Wide Web and the Internet. Did you know that there will be an estimated 50 million users on the Internet by the end of 1998 with 40 million of them in the United States alone? Or that over 10.4 million people surf the Internet weekly with over 69% of them earning over $30,000 a year and that over 70% have graduated or attended college? Statistics such as these are only a small part of the necessary information you need to know when first creating a web site.

The process of designing a web site can be broken down into several flexible steps:

Discuss
Communication is the key to begining a successful web venture. This phase allows me to provide you with more specific information regarding your proposed project.

Plan
A Web Site can develop into quite a complex project. You count on your web site designer to help develop solutions and to present multiple paths. Planning out the core concepts behind the web site help keep everything on track later on down the line. During this stage, you should gather the documents you need posted on your website.

Collect
Once the direction of the site has been established, I can begin collecting the content you would like to have online. This is also an excellent time to identify important information that should be made prominent to the site's visitors.

Design
At this point, I have all or enough of the content to begin drafting design concepts and solutions. Once you have approved the overall look of your site, I can begin merging content into the thematic shell of your web site.

Implement
From assembly to error checking to cross browser analysis, it will all be taken care of. These are the kind of surprises no one likes.

Evaluate
While at the end of the list, this step is by no means relegated to the end. Evaluation should  come frequently in the form of feedback throughout the course of the project.
