I firmly believe that society as a whole
can benefit through the use of the Internet. Small to medium
sized business are empowered dramatically, reaching far
wider audiences than normally possible. A web site, coupled
with marketing, can expose you or your business to previously
unreachable clients. Research on the Internet isn't just
for kids in grade school or lab coated scientists. For many,
the web serves as the starting point to find the products
and services they need in an environment that is much more
relaxed, informative, and entertaining than the Yellow Pages.
The web is the true equalizer. It breaks
all barriers and has the potential to reach everyone. With
this abilty, however, comes the fact that everyone can be
potential web site creators. One of the key differences
that can help you set your site apart from the masses is
an effective design. Although the Web must be approached
with a technical eye turned towards its limitations, a background
in traditional Graphic Design helps immeasurably.
