An analysis of ancient Egypt can never be perfect. So much time has passed and so much has been destroyed. Yet, even against these odds, scholars have explored the ruins of a once colossal civilization. In the Dynasties past, it surely must have seemed as if nothing was beyond the abilities of man. In modern times, while this has yet to prove true, humanity has accomplished more than was ever dreamed, fueled by the insatiable thirst for knowledge. All that remains has become the only way to ever learn of this history. Through works such as those found in Hesy-ra’s tomb, the arduous process of reconstructing the past can inch slowly forward. While volumes, have been recorded on ancient Egypt, this was traditionally done by scholars funded by wealthy collectors, a rather small subset of the population. With the advent of the Internet, this gap is slowly closing. The research has been done and the adventures are past. As Hesy-ra was once a forefather of new trends in spiritual art while steadfastly respecting tradition, so will he be a contributor to the new explorers. The Internet is tradition blended with innovation, eventually accessible to almost all. What was once a widely spaced, frantic, international effort to reclaim the treasures of Egypt is now vastly different. Ancient Egypt will be found, not in the sands of the desert by a select few, but in the individual efforts of the many whom still are fueled by the most powerful human instinct; the desire to learn.
